OS/Compiler notes: 

Using Mandrake 8.1 and KDE desktop.

I can get staroffice, advanced text editor and text editor to work. The text editor 
prints directly using lpr and enscript -2rG.

I cannot get Kmail to print out and I cannot configure control centre to find a print \
driver. Mandrake had initially found the HP R45 officejet but the print configure \
says unable to load a valid driver for lpr and No driver found (Raw printer) 

This used to work with Mandrake 8.0
