Well, As Peter pointed out, this can be done be perl script (by the
way, when you have perl you do not need anything else:))))). Here is a 
(very crude) attempt. As it is written in perl, I cross-post to
xchat-perl@nl.linux.org, sorry if you get two copies of it, is a
feature, not a bug:)
