Hi,

we are setting up a Veritas DBE/AC Cluster on SUN-System/Solaris 8 with
the following setup:

2 x SF6800 (24 CPU, 48 GB)
Solaris 8 - 117350-23
Storage: EMC DMX2000
4 QLogic-HBA per Node: QLA2300 Driver V. 4.15.03
+- 80 EMC-LUNs (=> 4 path per LUN)

3 x 1GB (ce driver) for private network

DBE/AC V 3.5 MP3

During Onlining of cvm service group the onlining of ressource
CVMCluster takes up to 5 minutes.
(online fails, after OnlineWaitLimit clean is called, online is called a
second time (OnlineRetryLimit),
online succeeds). 
Compared to a second DBE/AC Cluster (+- same settup (2 HBA per Node,
+-150 LUNs)) which needs
between 30 secs and 60 secs for the same operation, the value of 5
minutes looks very high.

Any experiences, explanations?
Is it possible to tune/speed up the operation?
Any suggestions? 

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
