Hi Guys,
I installed VBox on SUSE 10, successfully created an XP virtual machine, loaded \
several software packages successfuly and even got the USB working !!!
Went for lunch ( mistake ?? ) and, on my return, the screen had gone blank. Could \
not get back to the XP m/c, the VBox panel or even to the SUSE console. I could login \
OK on another screen ( eg <ALT>F5 ) and a ps showed the VBox panel and the XPVM still \
in the mix.
Had to reboot, VirtualBox started OK, but, when I now try to start the XP VM I get \
the following message;
Failed to start the virtual machine XP-VM
PIIX3 cannot attach drive to the Seconday Master.
Vbox status code: -102 (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)
Result code: 0x80004005
Component: Console
Interface: IConsole
{d5a1cbda-f5d7-4824-9afe-d640c94c7dcf}
The .vdi is showing in the Vbox panel in the IDE Primary Master slot
How can I fix this ?? I would hate to have to do a complete reinstall of the XP VM \
and would feel very uncomfortable using VirtualBox if this can happen ?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Dave Barrow
