Hello gurus

I have to place several 4.0F workstations with different
hardware configurations in environment where fire regulations
require that workstations will be off in nights.
People who shut workstations will just press poweroff button.
They won't initiate any proper shutdown methods.
However, to spare workstations (and filesystems), it might
be possible to teach them to press (with mouse) 'shutdown button'
if one was available.
I know how to add action to dce, but to login screen?
Like WNT/W2K has.

Another possibility would be somehow catch powerbutton
action (like some SGI's workstations do) to initiate
proper shutdown sequence.

Thx
