Nope. I've meant to make that more explicit in the documentation, but as:
(a) almost every interesting system that TagLib's plugged into provides such a
framework
(b) such is usually done by said framework anyway so duplicating the work
would just slow things down
(c) and such systems are less than trivial if done properly
I decided to forgo such in TagLib.
