Another aspect of the "copy-paste problem" -- sometimes, you can't pick a letter's contents
up into the buffer as usual.
i.e., you try to pick up a letter's contents with Ctl+a but only some very small binary-looking \
reduction will be put where you attempt to paste it. (You may be trying to print it, for example, when \
long lines get cut off by the usual "lpr '%s'" way of sending to the printer, which isn't wrapping [ \
SuSE8.2pro with CUPS default of KDE 3.1].)

-- however, if you do a Message > Reply on that letter, and pick it up with Ctl+a [from
the default editor], it pastes properly in full.

The case I just ran across is anomalous in showing "(No Date)" in the Date column. Don't
know if that's a hint or a co-incidence, because another with "(No Date)" pastes normally.
