Hi,

Using sylpheed-0.8.9 on Slackware 8.1.

Configuration -> Common Preferences... -> Send tab

"Outgoing codeset" is set to ISO-8859-15, "Transfer encoding" is set to
8bit.

If I send an unsigned mail then all happens as expected:
No 8-bit characters -> codeset=us-ascii, 7bit encoding.
With 8-bit characters -> codeset=iso-8859-15, 8bit encoding.

If I sign a mail using PGP/MIME then the MIME section containing the mail
body is not processed as expected:
No 8-bit characters -> codeset=us-ascii, 7bit encoding (expected).
With 8-bit characters -> codeset=iso-8859-15, base64 encoding!!

Is it not legal for a PGP/MIME mail to have 8-bit characters?
