I'm having a weird problem with Sylpheed.

It keeps hanging on me. 

When I open it up the Get and Get All buttons are grayed out and
so is the Configuration menu option.

Then when I try to close it, everything under File is also grayed
out. I try clicking on the X to close but that doesn't work
either so I finally have to do an XKill to stop it.

Any ideas why I'm having this problem?
