Hello,

I have a laptop running Suse8.2. Recently I connected an external
TFT monitor (SyncMaster 191T with 1280*1040 resolution), but I do not
manage to configure such that I get a good picture on the screen , at
least not via yast2 - the picture is always cut off in some places. Can
somebody recommend a way how to solve this? The system does not even
respond to my wishes to change resolution etc. Looking into
/etc/X11/XF68Config I see

but even if I change to the 1280*1040 suitable for the screen it does not
work.
