They rather look down on those who still do 2D architectural stuff :-)

My 2D power/lighting building floor plans.dwg do OK at most architects
offices, but they were generated as 2D, not 3D. 

VariCAD doesn't really handle AutoCad viewport features well. 
It uses a different system for text, so one needs to pay attention and
sometimes manually reset the text widths.
