I have successfully gotten a SuSE 9.3 Pro install working using PXE + 
syslinux + autoyast - is that the kind of thing you're talking about?

Basically I can PXE boot, type "install" at the syslinux boot prompt and 
away it goes.  Full install in about 5 minutes.
