Hi all,

I'm running Solaris 2.5 in a Ultra 1.

I have configured about 152 IP adresses in my hme0 interfaces...

I have configured once more and it was ok.

After, i have just restarted the named daemon to change a configuration
for a virtual domain in my DNS, and i have a lot of errors like the
following messages in my console, and the daemon wasn't started...

Jul 21 16:01:49 server1 named[27196]: db.tcs: Too many open files
Jul 21 16:01:49 server1 named[27196]: db.minastex: Too many open files
Jul 21 16:01:50 server1 named[27197]: No root nameservers for class 1

If i put the last interface down and don't change the dns
configuration, everything is fine again...

It seems to be a limitation of named...?

Does anybody can help me?

Regards,

Roberto Cury Jr.
