the bash-completion contribution script in the trunk dir doesn't work correctly
for bash 3.0.0.16(1) on gentoo and debian.
it throws following error-message:
bash: /usr/share/bash-completion/subversion: line 42: syntax error in
conditional expression: unexpected token `('
bash: /usr/share/bash-completion/subversion: line 42: syntax error near `@($'
bash: /usr/share/bash-completion/subversion: line 42: ` if [[ ${COMP_WORDS[1]}
!= @($helpCmds) ]] && \'
the patch on
http://vsectoor.geht-ab-wie-schnitzel.de/~niv/svn_bashcompletion.diff fixes the
syntax errors and works for me...
Please look at it, test it for other bash-versions and apply it if it is good,
that it will go mainstream..
any comments?
