The problem is fixed as of Sidewinder G2 6.1.0 Patch 6,
installing patch 6 has resolved the open issues with getting
Bloomberg clients to function via SOCKS on G2.

The last open issue with SOCKS5 for Bloomberg was related
topassing authentication requests, this issue is resolved in
 61006, as explicitly mentioned in the release notes.
