Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Company Information
Citadel's Engineering department is currently searching for an experienced security \
professional to join its Remediation Quality Assurance team.  
Job Description
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of security technologies and \
software development in a web-based environment. Additionally, the candidate should \
have excellent time management skills, the ability to analyze job scope, manage \
concurrent projects and meet deadlines. The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer's primary \
responsibility will be to design, execute, and record tests results run against \
Citadel enterprise applications to ensure the software meets or exceeds specified \
standards and end-user requirements.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Participate in product design and analysis-phase activities as well as test plan \
reviews. Work closely with other QA Engineers and Developers to develop, maintain and \
execute system, performance and regression test cases. Analyze test results, report \
defects and assist Development with issue resolution during all phases of \
development. Review and provide feedback on technical documentation. Maintain QA test \
lab and test environments.  
Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies, defect \
tracking as well as experience testing enterprise software on a PC-system using a \
variety of OS platforms. Candidate should have some system and/or network \
administration experience for Windows (NT, 2000, XP, 2003) and UNIX (RedHat, Solaris, \
Linux, Mac, HPUX, and/or AIX) platforms as well as experience with remote access and \
virtual machine applications. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Access databases and \
tools in addition to SQL scripting. Proven leadership, drive for results, \
self-management, and the ability to handle multiple critical issues simultaneously. \
Will need good communication skills to summarize and present information effectively \
to upper management.  
Additional Information:
Preferred Skills: Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, EE or other related fields of study \
with a minimum of 7+ years of software testing experience or an acceptable equivalent \
of education/experience. Hands-on vulnerability scanner application experience with \
one or more of the following: Harris STAT Scanner or Guardian,MBSA, Internet Security \
Systems, Qualys, eEye Retina, Nessus, NeWT, nCircle, Foundstone, Saint, and/or \
SecureScout. Knowledge of common security practices, vulnerability and patch \
management, CVEs, Bugtraq, and CERT. Experience using the Windows registry, IIS, \
HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, InstallShield, as well as knowledge of SOAP protocol. C ++ or C \
#, Pearl / Python knowledge.
