Position:       Security Architect
Location:       Richardson, Texas, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2005-09-30

Our client is a major fortune 500 company with tremendous upside potential and room \
for advancement. They are seeking a Security Architect to join their fast growing \
security team.

The security architect designs, monitors and modifies the security architecture using \
the requirements from the approved security  strategy in support of on-going business \
functions. The architect examines the enterprise-wide security issues and defines \
solutions for the protection of the entire company. This role establishes \
requirements for the corresponding technology, and leads product evaluation and \
selection activities.



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
*7 to 10 years progressive and advanced security experience,CISSP,CISA 
* Unix, firewalls, vulnerability remediation, internet / network architecture, \
incident response to actual significant outbreaks over  the past two years
* Security hardening, system administration, auditing/security assessment, wireless \
                security knowledge, emerging technologies (VoIP,RFID, etc).
* The architect ensures forward designs remain consistent with the business \
objectives. The position oversees and provides technical consultation during design \
                implementation ensuring the architecture goals and requirements are \
                met.
* The security architect will lead the evolution of a comprehensive process for \
incorporating Internet security intelligence, network heuristics and asset management \
into an  automated threat and vulnerability management model.
* The architect's responsibilities include the analysis of network traffic, \
enterprise applications and data flows to ensure security  risks are mitigated.
* Finally, the security architect provides expertise to other security projects and \
mentors other security staff to enhance the overall security programs.
