I don't know what the problem is at this
point.  You may want to do a "netstat -a"
while SAINT runs to see if it is actually
listening on port 1036 (or whichever port
it picks during that instance).  Also, you
might want to check that your loopback
device is correct, and isn't getting blocked
or redirected somewhere else: try
"telnet 127.0.0.1" (or some other service
if you're not running telnet) and see if it
connects to your own machine.  If not, your
machine isn't handling loopbacks correctly.
