The final version of SAINT 1.5 is now
available!  This version includes all of the
new features in SAINT 1.5 beta 1 and beta 2,
with some additional bug fixes.  Also,
Tru64 UNIX is now supported.  Please see
http://www.wwdsi.com/saint for more details
about what SAINT 1.5 has to offer.  Thanks
to Hans Sturm for submitting a patch for ftp.saint
and to Andreas Koelz for testing SAINT on
Tru64.

Please note that the rstatd vulnerability has
been downgraded to brown, as it was before.
This decision was made because the
information that can be obtained from rstatd
is not as potentially helpful to a hacker as
that from "yellow" services such as finger and
rusers.  The developers of SAINT would like
to encourage user input about this decision.
If you have any feelings about the severity level
of rstatd, or about the helpfulness or accuracy
of SAINT's severity levels in general, please
post them to this list.
