I'd love to help too. I'm lacking creativity to start an own module just
now but would definitly like to help ruby on the way to RAA > CPAN. ;)

Hm, doesn't it sound a bit too much like "libnsl"? Might be confusing
under unix. I'd suggest rather "nstdlib" or alike.
