I am trying to set up a FTP server on RH9. I've already read (too) many
  howto files but it is still not working. I use vsftpd (1.1.3-8), RH9
and ADSL connection with static IP.

If I use chkconfig --list server is running, but it is not responding?

What could I do wrong?
