Hello dev list!

I posted this on the user list already, but after working through it
a bit I think this is the more correct place. I've also filed a bug
report for posterity.

When creating a top folder using the 'new top folder' dialog and the
fish kioslave I run into errors on servers where /home is not accessible
to me. This seems to be the default behavior on cPanel servers.

I can use a url like this in konqueror:
fish://user@server/home/user
Konqueror will let me browse files in the user's home directory. For
that matter, I can just use fish://user@server in Konqueror and I'm
immediately dumped into the user's home directory without specifying.
When I log in through SSH on the command line this is where I'm put, so
that makes sense.

In Quanta if I use 'fish://user@server' I initially see a listing of
the server's root directory. On some servers I can then browse to /home
and then to /home/user, but on some servers I get permission denied on
/home and Quanta won't continue from there. I tried putting in the full
path (fish://user@server/home/user/) and it seems that Quanta is parsing
the path and attempting to get a directory listing on each element
before moving on to the next (I see the 'working' icon as it moves
down). When Quanta can't get a directory listing on /home/ it errors out.

I have tried manually creating the top folder entry in the quantarc
file. Once it's created I can use it and browse the files without problem.

I don't know C++ at all so I can't be much help in tracking down
code. I filed a bug report here:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151631

I'm more than happy to help solve this in whatever way I can - let
me know what I can do.
