I don't have much time as I started to work but I would like to discuss and do 
what I can regarding VPL.
I find natural that you don't like VPL stuff in those places and IMHO that 
should be completed restructured.
My idea is to do something like webcore, that have editing comands with 
undo/redo encapsulated inside. If we could use kdom we would get that 
infrastructure for free.
Right now I really don't know what to tell you. I don't know if it's useful to 
do something about VPL without knowing what's gonna happen.
