Your probably only have Quanta from KDE3 available which cannot cope with the 
KDE4 versions of the tools you installed. Furthermore it might be that the 
documentation from KDE3 apps is missing, not sure there though.

Anyhow, you should ask the OpenSuse guys (and wait for Quanta for KDE4).
