And it's not just IE6. Many apps (a large number of outliners and Web
content management systems for example) use a subset of older HTML versions
as their native formats. E.g., the Notecase outliner and my Drupal 5.x web
site's editor both write to HTML 4 Strict.

Being able to validate content for both with HTML Tidy and Quanta (plus link
checking and repair with KLinkStatus and Quanta) is important to me.

Plus there are billions of legacy web pages out there that require
maintenance and revision. Can't imagine dropping the ability to do so using
Quanta.
