Shortly to sum up:
- if you set up a preview prefix, Quanta should preview the file through 
it, no matter if your project is a local or remote one.
- so, if you want to preview your files and you are working on an ftp 
site, you should use a preview prefix like: 
http://yourserver/path_to_your project. This means that the directory 
of your project (ftp://yourserver/path_to_project) MUST be accessible 
also via a web browser!
- if the internal preview works fine, but previewing through an external 
server breaks, that is a bug in Quanta.
