OK... got it... I guess you understand that ftp wont render html nor php at 
all therefore "Save file".
if you however try to use http://host.domain/~user/public_html/file.htm this 
would work. It all depend on yer server wheras this just as well can be 
http://someplace.com/file.htm
I never actually used this "preview" very much, as I rather have all my tabs 
in place and I got the page I'm workin' on in one tab and about ~ 20 sites in 
others ;)

localhost wont render php at all unless you have php installed.
If this is what you like; install apache & php, and you'll be alright.
This will also lead to "Save file".

Not Quantas fault. I do not get the ftp:// in addressbar witch in turn can be 
triggered by settings unfamiliar to me. This option however shows how 
versatile Q is.
