With the corect DTEP Quanta would no offer invalid elements at a place
and it will warn you about the problem if you turn on the problems
view. Making the problems view independent of the structure tree is a
must, of course. ;-)

I'm so late with this job. The client side is there since some versions,
I already have a working test-side for the server, but I have to polish
it. Due to some problems (partly health problems), I failed to finish
it yet.
So hopefully this two will be ready anyway, but the 1st might still be a
candidate and the 2nd would be a candidate to fill the template
repository or improve template handling.

Many projects do it (at least we at kdebwebdev and Eric for kittyhooch
use CVS with Quanta). But it needs some improvements on Quanta side to
allow real multi-person editing, as right now frequent conflicts can
arise if you store the project file in CVS/SVN. Also an easy way to set
up might be useful.

Good idea, related to#2 (the templates) I believe.
