When I run Quanta it stays up for about 30 seconds and then it 
crashes.  I don't think that it is a problem in the code, but 
something weird on my machine.  I have been battling this for a 
few weeks.  A backtrace is attached but I don't know if it has 
anything useful in it.  No other KDE apps that I use have this 
problem.  I upgraded the compiler to get something else to run 
and that is probably what the problem is.  I have recompiled 
almost everything on my machine, but nothing has helped.  Any 
ideas would be appreciated.

I am running Quanta from CVS on a Gentoo machine with KDE 3.4 
from ebuilds.  QT 3.3.4-r3 from ebuild.

gcc version 3.4.3-20050110 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3.20050110-r2, 
ssp-3.4.3.20050110-0, pie-8.7.7)
