Hi there,

For many mailers, comma [,] and semi-colonn [;] are both valid separators
for multiple addresses and both are accepted in mailto URLs; there are in
fact Web sites that use the [;].

I understand that the semi-colon as a special meaning in a To: field (for
the "...: ;" notation), but it would be nice that pine makes some
accomodation for -url mailto:... to treat the following equally.

   pine -url "mailto:Pierre Thibaudeau <prt3@sympatico.ca>; \
pine-info@u.washington.edu?subject=Address separator"

   pine -url "mailto:Pierre Thibaudeau <prt3@sympatico.ca>, \
pine-info@u.washington.edu?subject=Address separator"

As you can see, the first form yields
"UNEXPECTED_DATA_AFTER_ADDRESS@.SYNTAX-ERROR." in lieu of the second
address.

Cheers.
