Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I thought there was a simple command
line flag I could give to pine to have it read a specific file and use
that as if it were my mail, but let me go to the 'index', delete messages,
etc.

What I'm really trying to do: I have a lot of really old mailing list
messages and other stuff (e.g. I have a cron job email me studiobriefing
from imdb every day). I'd like to be able to export them from pine into
a file, then I could move the file around on different machines, but
still use pine to read it and delete messages.

I just want to get the stuff out of my mailbox and onto files I can move
around.

If there were a way I could _edit_ the messages (i.e. read half of a message,
delete that half), that'd be even better, but I'm pretty sure that's not even
possible.

So far I was doing this with vim, but I realized that if the messages are
just exported from pine, aren't they in mbox format that I can then read
with pine?
