Subject:    [PHP3] confused with  displaying data in a form

I have a little problem that I can not figure out why it is happening.
I have an address that I am trying to retrieve from a mysql database 
that looks like this
IMG SRC="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/serve?bfmid etc....

 When I try to show the data in a form like this

  <input type="Text" name="bla" value="<?php echo $row["bla"] ?>" 
 size="60" maxlength="250" >     it will only show IMG SRC=

 But when I put <?php echo $row["bla"] ?> on the page outside of 
 the form box it will display the whole address.

 The information is stored in the database because I checked it with 
 an outside program. This has got me totally confused. 
 Any Ideas
