/Congratulations! How big can it get before you get in trouble? :-)

well, the database is more than its biggest file:

cserv> du -k data
2883498 data

So I guess the next challenge will be when the database won't fit on a
reasonable disk anymore. With current exponential growth, within 18 months a 9
GB drive will be in trouble, with the current Horowitz server as well as the
Cert Server. I myself tend to forget that the Horowitz server is only with us
since Janaury 1997, when we had 25.000 keys. Now, we have more than 600000.

We really will run into practical trouble with the theoretically correct
stanza of "never delete a key" or "ask cooperation of users before deleting a
key"....

I guess I'm getting an old worry-head, looking at it like this just after the
elation of the great 0.9.4 improvements. I think I'm going to the country of
the Tico's and Tica's to have a beer, Saturday. Actually, I'm certain of it.
Let me excersize my most succesfull sentence in Spanish; "Signor, un Imperial
por favor".

cheers,

teun
