You can get it from here:
http://download.opensuse.org/update/12.3-non-oss/i586/acroread-9.5.5-8.1.i586.rpm
That's the one I'm using. Yes, it has many deps, but YaST solves them.
It is a 32 bit app, it always was.
(don't add the 12.3 repo: instead download the rpm to your own local
directory, and add that directory as local plain rpm repo to yast/zypper)
