In case you haven't been watching the latest Xorg developments, X11R7.2 RC-3
provides nice updates to Matrox, Intel, and ATI cards.

The new ATI Radeon driver to test is version 6.6.3, and the Intel i810 driver to test \
is version 1.6.5.  
Also, since Matrox is providing open source code for their G-series cards (aka \
Millennium G550 Low-profile PCI,Millennium G550,G450x2 MMS,Millennium G450,G450x4 \
MMS,Millennium G450 Low-profile,Millennium G450 PCI,Millennium G550 Dual \
DVI,Millennium G550 LP PCIe,Millennium G550 PCIe) you can get decent support from \
Matrox on their cards. You get MGA driver v1.4.5 in the Xorg build.

If you have an older SPARC card like the PGX32 or PGX64, make sure you have the \
latest driver patches or try your hand at the newer Xorg open source drivers!!

Nvidia 1.0-9765 is out for Solaris x86/x64 so you might as well do some serious \
stress testing with the latest Xorg 7.2 RC-3 before the official release in an \
upcoming Solaris Express build...
