Yes, we're currently only providing source tarballs for the numbered
biweekly builds.  For the other deliveries, you need to get the source
using Mercurial.

I've filed a bug to get the website updated.  Sorry for the confusion.

That should be okay, as long as you're using the SUNWonbld tarball that
corresponds to the source that you're using.

It's hard to say without more information.  If you're still having
trouble, please send me a copy of your nightly.log.
