For what it is worth: here is what it looks like in KWrite 4.1 (the 
first 427 characters of it):

   In KWrite, when I put the cursor at the end of "\header" (end of the 
above sample), the position was listed as "line 1 column 427". When I 
used Ctrl+End to go to the end of the document, the position was listed 
as "line 1 column 79,663"! I think that is the problem. A one line 
document with 79663 characters in it is a bit much for most filters to 
handle. Perhaps it has been corrupted in some way.
   In OOo version 1.1.1, I get a blank page, but I noticed the margins 
have been set (top, bottom, and both sides) by the file and the font is 
Times New Roman as it should be for this file.
