Sorry, but I just started learning more about OOo and it took some
time to find out that there is a filter function at exactly the point
where the Pivot-function of Excel is.

So, top left corner above the pivot table you find a grey field which
can be activated to define a filter which modifies the contents of the
table :-)

Maybe this helps a bit?! :-))

What I am missing is, that you can't modify the data range of the
pivot table. Or can you??
