How does Framemaker compare? I ran this for a couple years, and loved it.
But it was only for relatively short technical documents (<60pp), and I can't
recall all the advanced features.

Adobe had ported framemaker to Linux some years ago. I expect it was easy, as
they compile for other unix varients. They dropped it after the beta for
whatever reason, and demanded that all beta users wipe out their
installation. I wonder if they've come back?

RBE, are you still having converter difficulties? What files specifically?

cheers,

mike
