One thing nobody has mentioned are some of the inconsistencies in the 
menu. Specifically, related or similar functions are often widely 
separated. For example:

1. Labels are under File > New, but Envelopes are under Insert. File > 
New is probably the place for both.

2. Style > Load is in the Format menu, but Templates are in the File 
menu. Perhaps some redundancy would be useful here, but probably 
Templates could just be moved into the Format menu.

3. Footnotes and the Gallery are under Tools, but would be more logical 
under Insert. Probably Gallery could go under Tools > Graphics.

4. AutoCorrect/Autoformat are under Tools, but AutoText is under Edit. 
All three could probably go into the same menu - I'd suggest Edit, but 
Tools would do as well.
