My "status overview" pane is reporting phantom outages.

I had actually hidden it sometime in the past, as it suffers from the same =
false outages reported by the Regional Status page. I've asked about the f=
alse outages on the Regional Status page before, but I don't think I ever g=
ot an answer. When I updated to 21.1 yesterday the Status Overview pane ca=
me back and I remembered why I had hidden it in the first place.

Anyway, what I see on the Status Overview is two circles, one for alarms (c=
urrently 100% green) and one for outages (currently 96.6% green, 1.1% minor=
, and 2.3% major).

Clicking on the red major alarm section of the circle shows me a lists of n=
odes, each with a "show outages" link on the far right.

Clicking on the "show outages" link shows me that there are no outages.

I can see the same nodes if I drop down to the Regional Status pane, and to=
ggle "calculate status based on outages" instead of the default "calculate =
status based on alarms."

Changing the map display shows the very same nodes in the very same status =
on the map display as in the status overview up top.

The outages reported just say "minor" or "major." There is no indication o=
f which service is supposed to be down other than the severity.

I'm assuming that there is something strange in PostgreSQL causing this. I=
s there a global "I have no outages" query that is safe to run?

Thanks!

James Zuelow
