Welp, didn't work for me...compiled fine, binary seems to be OK,
but it never starts.

a ktrace of it shows this:

[snip]
  5934 sh CALL stat(0x5d308,0xcfbfd1a4)
5934 sh NAMI "md5sum: Command not found."
5934 sh RET stat -1 errno 2 No such file or directory
  5934 sh CALL stat(0x52b28,0xcfbfd434)
  5934 sh NAMI "./mozilla-bin"
  5934 sh RET stat 0
  5934 sh CALL access(0x52b28,0x1)
  5934 sh NAMI "./mozilla-bin"
  5934 sh RET access 0
  5934 sh CALL sigprocmask(0x1,0x80000)
  5934 sh RET sigprocmask 0
  5934 sh CALL fork
  5934 sh RET fork 7948/0x1f0c
  5934 sh CALL sigsuspend(0)

and then it just sits there... I just put into place the patch
as suggested by Marc Matteo, and I'm recompiling as we speak
(i386 3.1-current)
