Well, that file seems to have disappeared since.

Anyway, purely speaking from a package building perspective, it
would be real nice if we could get rid of that threads flavor.

Again, as the poor chap who manually builds packages that depend
on python-tk, I'm all in favor of this.  But then I don't know
anything about python.
