I suspect this is caused by "old" auto* files in a share/ directory
somewhere.
Just a guess...

It's complaining about a workaround to a problem which may or may not
have been fixed, having to do with LIBOBJS and the ANSI2KNR stuff. I've
asked on the autoconf mailing list.
