No, that's fine, with a few caveats. We're actually starting our rollout in just \
that way - finished the primary yesterday, two user domains today, will do a couple \
of post offices tonight, then on to the GWIAs with their MTAs this weekend, and the \
rest of the POs and WebAccess next week.
There are some caveats - here are the ones I can think of:
1. Unless you have all of the SP2 Hot Patches installed (we don't, we are at \
release+DST), you can't upgrade any clients until the PO they connect to is done. \
The obvious one is the Win32 clients, but don't forget GWIA if you have any \
authenticated SMTP connections. And in this scenario, WebAccess can't go until ALL \
of the POs that it connects to are done.
2. If you have agents coexisting on the same box, you need to be cautious about \
updating one and not the other. If you are confident in your use of address spaces, \
you'll be fine. But I did run into a problem with this even when I was using address \
spaces. Someone (I think Rick Beels) suggested my symptoms suggested fragmented \
memory and might have been fixed by a reboot. Having said that, I just successfully \
updated three MTAs on the same box in three separate passes (over the course of 24 \
horus) because they each run in isolated cluster resources in their own memory \
space.might be well served.

Normally, on smaller systems, I update Primary (often the only) domain, then the PO \
and move on to other domains.
In a system with multiple domains, with multiple PO's each, would it be a bad idea to \
just do all domains first, then PO's as time allows?
In other words, are there "terrible things" that could happen running 7.0.2 poa's \
against 7.0.3 mta's??
