I'm not sure.
The two volumes don't shared files' cnid so at least:
- HFS alias may point to the wrong file (they use cnid).
- If cachecnid is enable (currently it's not by default) both volumes
will fight each other for setting files' cnid.


On the other hand sharing cnid database between volume shouldn't be to
hard.
