Hi,
I have just installed 2.0.1 on a RH 9 box. I have a new directory
created I would like to share, but when I attempt to connect with an
OS 9 Mac, I am successfully authenticated and then, when the Mac
would usually display a list of available Volumes, I get a gray box
for about 45 seconds. It eventually resolves into a listing of
Volumes, with the one corresponding to my new folder being grayed out.
I used the cnidscheme:dbd option in AppleVolumes.default and
configured the build using the dbd backend switch. Here's a portion
of my log:
-----
Oct 29 17:07:11 afpd[11468][cnid.c:86]: I:CNID: Setting uid/gid to 0/0
Oct 29 17:07:11 afpd[11468][cnid_cdb_open.c:264]: I:Default: CNID DB
initialized using Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 4.2.52: (December
3, 2003)
Oct 29 17:07:12 afpd[11468][cnid_dbd.c:102]: E:CNID: getfd: connect

Oct 29 17:07:17 afpd[11468][cnid_dbd.c:102]: E:CNID: getfd: connect

Oct 29 17:07:22 afpd[11468][cnid_dbd.c:102]: E:CNID: getfd: connect
localhost: Connection refused
Oct 29 17:07:27 afpd[11468][cnid_dbd.c:102]: E:CNID: getfd: connect

-----
What's with the "connection refused"?
TIA,
...ROMeyn
