Actually, you're having trouble with your OpenSSL-libs :)

OpenSSL 0.9.5 is very old.  Can't you install a more recent OpenSSL and
get around those messages complaining that your rpmlib is too _new_?

They both should work with a more recent OpenSSL than 0.9.5, e.g. 0.9.6c
or s.th. like that.

Well yes, b/c OpenSSH requires OpenSSL as well.
