Summary: Format of authKey and privKey in snmpd.c

Initial Comment:
Hello,

I am using ucd-snmp 4.2.1 on windows NT. I try to configure the snmpd agent by using
snmpd.conf. I always got "USM encryption error". I do not know the correct format to specify
authKey and privKey. Here is the line in my snmpd.conf:

createUser docsisManager MD5 abcabcabc DES defdefdef

and the command line I use is:
snmpget -d -v3 -udocsisManager -lauthPriv -aMD5 -A abcabcabc -xDES -X defdefdef
192.168.250.234 sysDescr.0

And if the authKey and privKey are octet strings, what should I input in snmpd.conf? I tried
to modify snmpd.conf like the following:

createUser docsisManager MD5 0x968204093dc25817d71bee25da197604 DES
0x9b7d180c7bf43d9968b62f78d5e2605e

and the command line I use is:
snmpget -v3 -udocsisManager -lauthPriv -aMD5 -A 0x968204093dc25817d71bee25da197604 -xDES
-X 0x9b7d180c7bf43d9968b62f78d5e2605e -d 192.168.250.234 sysDescr.0

I created a snmpd.conf in my $HOME/.snmp directory like this
rwuser docsisManager

Anyone could tell me why? Thanks.

Regards
