Summary: Unlinked OID error help

Initial Comment:
UCD-snmp version: 3.6.1, RH Linux 6.2

When trying to get information from a Cisco access
server, I issue:

snmpget -m CISCO-MODEM-MGMT-MIB xx.xx.xx.xx comname

I get:

Unlinked OID in CISCO-MODEM-MGMT-MIB:
cmGroupMemberEntry ::= { cmGroupMemberTabl
e 1 }

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? (Besides
using an old version unless upgrading is the cure)

Please see the thread on the net-snmp-users mailing list,
with the subject "Cisco MIB use trouble" which discusses
this very problem

Dave

Hi Nobody/Anonymous,

Have you copied the CISCO-MODEM-MGMT-MIB.txt into your /local/share/snmp/mibs/ directory ?
Do you have the ciscoMgmt-SMI file ?

if yes, do an export MIBS=ALL and check.

Thanks,

Arif
